Free mountain biking
One of the favourite spots for mountain bikers is the Ubaye Valley with more than 300 trails labelled and marked by the French Fédération de cyclisme and one mountain bike trail the “Transubayenne” that crosses the Valley through a former railway tunnel.

Cycling around Barcelonnette
As soon as spring arrives, the bike becomes the King of the Alps with prestigious passes such as Bonnette-Restefond, 2809 m high (one of the Tour de France favourites), Allos, La Cayolle, Vars. You will enjoy sport cycling or mountain biking as well as quiet family rides.
Easy to do: the 7 passes certificate, the climbing of La Bonnette, the popular ride of the 3 passes etc. All the ideas that you’ll get reading these pages are just a foretaste of the pleasure to pedal following your own rhythm among unforgettable landscapes.
We offer a large choice of tours and rides. Bicyclist will enjoy riding up the 7 passes of the Ubaye roads. One of them peaks at 2 802 m!
