Some information about the river
52 km are navigable, the total river length is 80 km, 60 rapids, 9 different waterways, difficulty level I to IV, shootable according to the season, your level and the flow of water.

From the Italian boarder to the Lake of Serre-Ponçon, along 80 km, the river Ubaye follows the valley increasing its flow, with from time to time wavy or quiet streams.
Try and master these wild waters safely, rafting, canoeing or swimming through them.
But the Ubaye River offers picturesque landscapes, welcoming riverbanks, quietness rocked by the sound of the water that constantly flows towards the cities which are so far from us.
The RioRaft Club starts its activities right at the campsite

We offer you to discover the river with the Rio Raft guides. Anne will be pleased to welcome you, to advise you on the different river beds of the Ubaye. This river is one of the most beautiful in France. Don’t hesitate, and embark with a team of licensed and experienced guides. Guaranteed thrills!
Several whitewater activities are offered : rafting, whitewater swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hot dogs, hydrospeed, etc ..., with opportunities even for your youngest children: baby-raft starting with 5 years of age, river excursions for families or well trained sportsmen.
Let us guide you and just try the legendary gateways called "La Dent de Requin" (Shark Tooth), "Le Rouleau de Printemps" (Spring Roll), "Le Plat de Résistance" (Main Course), "Le Petit Bois" (Little Wood), "le Trou Normand" (Nip of Spirit), "Champagne", "la Machine à Laver" (Washing Machine) etc.
Starting point directly at the campsite
Good mood, stunning scenery and thrills are scheduled. Rafting departures start directly from the campsite. Leave your car and hop!
Several options are available: Training-course, multi-activity discovery.
Rates are low, equipment and material of high quality and complete. Security, competency and experience of the guides are impeccable. Then just slip on the most beautiful river in the Alpes de Haute Provence.

Canyoning
Caution ! Canyoning cannot be improvised, it requires a perfect knowledge of the ground that must be prepared; the activity must also be supervised by professionals.
Pretty rides in the Mercantour or Ubaye valley. Day tours, also small groups.
